We're SUGS - Swansea University Guides and Scouts!
We do a wide range of activities from hikes, camping and monopoly runs to quizzes, crafts and badge nights! We can also help you find a local Scout or Guide group to volunteer at if you wish. Come and join in!

GSPA ydyn ni – Geidiaid a Sgowtiaid Prifysgol Abertawe!
Rydym ni’n gwneud amrediad eang o weithgareddau o heiciau, gwersylla a rhediadau monopoli i gwisiau, crefftau a nosweithiau bathodynnau! Rydym ni hefyd yn gallu helpu gyda ffeindio grwpiau Sgowtio a Geidio lleol i i wirfoddoli gydag os dymunwyd. Dewch ac ymuno mewn!

Our club
Swansea University Guides and Scouts - or Geidiaid a Sgowtiaid Prifysgol Abertawe in Welsh - has been running in its current iteration since 2005ish - although there are records of SSAGO in Swansea from the forties!
We meet up on Monday nights at 7:30pm and get up to a manner of shenanigans, from Taskmaster nights and chippy hikes, to quizzes and paracord crafts, there isn't much we won't do! Feel free to come along and try us out for a night or two, we're a very friendly bunch :)
It's not just school night either! We have a handful of bigger events and camps throughout the year, some with our neighbouring Welsh clubs, and of course the national rallies with the rest of SSAGO!
Geidiaid a Sgowtiaid Prifysgol Abertawe – neu Swansea University Guides and Scouts yn Saesneg – wedi bod yn rhedeg yn ei fersiwn bresennol ers tua 2005 – er mae yna gofnodion o MSAGM wedi bod yn Abertawe ers y pedwardegau!
Rydym ni’n cwrdd pob nos Lun am 07:30yh ac rydym yn gwneud pob math o ddrygioni, o noson Taskmaster a heiciau sglodion i gwisiau a chrefftau paracord, does dim dydyn ni ddim yn gwneud! Mae croeso i chi ddod a chael blas am noson neu ddwy, rydyn ni’n gyfeillgar :) Nid nosweithiau ysgol yn unig chwaith! Rydyn ni’n gwneud llond llaw o ddigwyddiadau a gwersylloedd trwy gydol y flwyddyn, rhai ohonyn gydag ein cymdogion o glybiau Cymraeg ac, wrth gwrs, y ralïau gyda gweddill MSAGM!

Our mascots
After an unfortunate firework related injury, Minty is joining Derek in retirement and handing on the baton of SUGS' stealable mascot to their daughter, Gwen. She has been thoroughly trained by her parents on how to avoid capture, you can try and steal Gwen, but wool do everything we can to keep her safe. The family enjoy grazing on the grass in Singleton Park, and having sheepy nights in. Derek, Minty and Gwen are looking forward to meeting "ewe" at Rally, so please don't be sheepish!
Struggling to tell our sheep apart? From right to left we have: Derek, who wears a small SUGS Scarf; Gwen, who has a cosy camp blanket; and Minty, who has a *stylish* tramp stamp of their name. All three have matching beanies for chilly camps.
Ar ôl damwain anffodus oedd yn gysylltiedig â thân gwyllt, mae Minty yn ymuno â Derek yn ymddeol ac yn trosglwyddo’r baton o fod yn fasgot dwynadwy i’w ferch, Gwen. Mae hi wedi cael ei hyfforddi’n drwyadl gan ei rhieni ar sut i osgoi cael ei chipio, gallwch geisio dwyn Gwen oen byddwn yn gwneud popeth i’w chadw’n ddiogel. Mae Derek, Minty a Gwen yn edrych ymlaen at garn y siawns i’ch cwrdd at ralïau, felly peidiwch fod yn swil!
Cael trafferth yn wahaniaethi ein defaid? O’r dde i’r chwith mae gennym ni: Derek, sy’n gwisgo sgarff bach GSPA; Gwen, sydd â blanced clud; a Minty, sydd â’i hen war ei phen ôl . Er bod pob un â beanîs er mwyn ymlacio wrth wersylla.
